EndTheMadness presents our very first Chagaton! What is a Chagaton, you ask? It's a Simchas Torah extravaganza modeled after our highly successful Shabbatons. We're bringing together an exclusive group of 48 Orthodox singles between the ages of 22-30 to spend Yom Tov with the Jewish community of Hillcrest. Our program will be integrated into the regular Yom Tov activities at the Young Israel of Hillcrest. Attendees will eat meals at the homes of hosts in the community. Hillcrest is a lively, vibrant community, and they are eager to join with ETM on this program and share Yom Tov with you. Activities will include an interactive discussion on Shemini Atzeres, catered meals for Simchas Torah night and day, Shalosh Seudos on Shabbos with the community, a siyum for women on Simchas Torah, and more! It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spiritual aspects of Yom Tov in warm Jewish community while meeting meet new friends. Oh, and the cost for the entire program is only $50 per person. We're not looking to make money off anyone. Of course, you can always flock to the Upper West Side for Simchas Torah. If that's your idea of a good time, don't let me talk you out of it.
